The Archive was the first design exhibition to be held in the impressive Old National Archive building at Riddarfjärden in central Stockholm.
The exhibition brought together four leading design brands from Japan and Denmark, showcasing their shared aesthetics and values. Ariake, @le_klint_lighting, @2016_arita and @friendsfounders presented both existing collections and new pieces during Stockholm Design Week.
The Old National Archive, designed by architect Axel Fredrik Nyström and built in 1890, is one of the first purpose-built archive buildings in Europe.

「The Archive」は、ストックホルム中心部・リッダーフィエルデンにある壮麗な旧国立公文書館で初めて開催されたデザイン展です。
本展では、日本とデンマークの4つのデザインブランドが集まり、共通する美意識と価値観を紹介しました。Ariake、@le_klint_lighting、 @2016_arita、 @friendsfounders が、Stockholm Design Week の期間中に既存コレクションと新作を展示しました。
会場となった旧国立公文書館は、建築家アクセル・フレドリク・ニーストロムによって1890年に建てられたもので、ヨーロッパで最初に目的別に設計されたアーカイブ建築のひとつとされています。
キュレーションは @novabeatrice、スタイリングは @annaleena.interiors が手がけました。
