Koyabari means „roof beam“ in Japanese. Inspired by Japanese roof joinery techniques, this dining table and console table family has a thick beam that is positioned close to the ground for maximum stability, at the same time giving it strong visual character. The beam also prevents the touching of feet with the person sitting across the dining table, an awkward situation that most people can relate to.
