During Milan Design Week 2023, Gabriel Tan curated an exhibition held in an authentic and intimate home of a Milanese couple in Porta Venezia, featuring Ariake, DUX, Origin Made, mui, Sera Helsinki and Secto Design, each a master in one’s own field but all sharing common values, philosophies and sensibilities.
In an era driven by mass consumption and trends, these brands went against the grain, focusing on combining the best of technology and the handmade to create quality products that gave more importance to daily rituals and facilitated an enjoyable way of life. The exhibition featured Ariake’s new designs by Norm Architects, Rui Alves and Staffan Holm.

ミラノデザインウィーク2023において、ポルタ・ヴェネツィアにあるミラネーゼの住居を舞台とした展覧会を開催いたしました。この親密な空間では、ARIAKEの家具、Origin Madeの職人技が光るコレクション、Secto Designの曲木照明、Sera Helsinkiのエチオピア製ラグ、muiの穏やかなテクノロジー、そしてスウェーデンのラグジュアリーベッドブランドDUXIANAとARIAKEの新しいヘッドボードのコラボレーションが展示されました。
それぞれのブランドは、ものづくりへのこだわりと、より豊かなライフスタイルの追求という共通の価値観を持っています。ミラノデザインウィークの喧騒から離れた、穏やかで調和のとれた「本物の住まい」に足を踏み入れるような驚きをお客様へ提供することを目指しました。
本展示では、Norm Architects、Rui Alves、Staffan Holm、Philippe Malouin、Claesson Koivisto Rune、Sebastian Herkner、Laura Seppänen、Anna Pirkola、Peeta Peltola、Seppo Koho、Gabriel Tanによる新作が紹介され、さらにTomek Sadurskiのアート作品も展示されました。
